Let’s plan your Christmas Table!
I can’t believe I’m blogging about Christmas when it’s still November. But, it’s the 29th and Christmas is just 3 1/2 weeks away! Time flies and before you know it, it will be Christmas and I want to make sure your table is beautiful! If you walked into my home, you would know immediately that I like jars. Big jars, small jars, tall jars short jars … and I love to fill them with my finds from the beach! So, let’s use some jars to jazz up your Christmas table!
You don’t have to use the Mason brand as there are other brands available. I like to have one side “open” (without lettering) to make sure the beauty inside can show to the outside. You can find jars at almost any market, Target, Walmart, etc… and can be found in the canning aisle. If you don’t want to buy a case of jars, you can find singles at craft stores like Michaels,Joann’s Fabrics, Hobby Lobby etc… You might just want to start in a craft store because after you see the ideas below you will need to stock up on all the goodies that will make your jars shine on the table with candles and decorations.
These ideas would be good for a Christmas Wedding as well! So let’s get started and get inspired! Get a piece of paper because you’ll be making a list for your Christmas Table decorations!
You will need some supplies to be crafty! Here are some basics to have on hand –
Fine Sand Paper
Blue Painters Tape
Holly, Christmas Trees and other Christmas greenery
Paint Brushes – different sizes depending on your project
Epson Salt (Yes Epson Salt for the snow look) or Glitter – watch out for that glitter! It can get messy!!
Decoupage or Mod Podge
Hot glue gun and extra glue sticks
Stencils if doing lettering
Can of Glass Frosting
